New Product from Troy Labs: Vaga, Intercom for communities

Today, we are pumped to unveil Vaga, Intercom for communities.

Vaga is an embeddable widget that enables users and visitors to chat in a group chat dedicated to your product. For many community-centric companies, communities have to go to Discord to meet and talk, which makes them leave the actual product. It also excludes anyone who does not have a Discord account, which is most of your visitors.

Vaga solves this problem by bringing your Discord community chat into your app or website. All by copying and pasting a <script> tag into your website. It works with any framework as well as a provider. Webflow, Framer, Wix, Squarespace, Next.js, Angular…

✅If you are a web3 company with a MetaMask connection, your users will be auto-logged into the chat and can message each other’s wallet addresses.

We also provide Google login for regular users. The users can also create private conversations to chat among themselves and chat privately while playing a game among close friends.

We built Vaga with GUN, fully decentralized but not on the blockchain. It is the perfect protocol for connecting the web natively. That is why you don’t pay gas fees or wait for confirmation when you send a message.
